The design of the lines is an interpretation of the Saint-Louis artisans' gestural vocabulary that is repeated and passed down from generation to generation: a synchronized choreography of crystal blowers in the hot workshop; variations of a crystal cutting grammar in the cold workshop.

The "Wingen" bar service is named after the village in Alsace where the Lalique Manufacture perpetuated its exceptional know-how. René Lalique had already designed a stemware service of the same name in the 1920s, with a similar pattern. Displayed with rhythmic rigor, the graphic lines in frosted crystal-emblematic of Lalique-exhibit a timeless elegance.

Created in 1841, the chalices have been chosen by historical icons such as Pope John Paul II, the Queen of Thailand, the King of Morocco, and many other prominent figures.

The Harcourt collection has also been a constant of French power, chosen at the time of Napoleon III and still used today at the Elysée Palace.
