Five-light octagonal base candlestick created by Baccarat in the 1980s on the interesting French models of the Regence period, which corresponds to about 1750, a period when Philip d'Orléans, Regent of France for Louis XV. was specially called the "Monseigneur Le Régent."
The candlesticks splendid in their shape and cut fit nicely into any table, precisely because of their proportion that imposes itself without disturbing.
