Artist Pierre Charpin and Saint-Louis have joined forces to launch Cadence, a versatile collection of 29 pieces, all crafted from clear crystal and defined by the interplay of horizontal and vertical cuts.
Among them is a round liqueur bottle in clear crystal.
The design of the lines is an interpretation of the gestural vocabulary of the Saint-Louis artisans, which is repeated and passed down from generation to generation: a synchronized choreography of the glassblowers in the hot workshop; variations on the grammar of crystal cutting in the cold workshop.
