Daum, a creator of light for more than 140 years, is inspired by the most beautiful icons of animal art.
The equestrian theme, an icon of the Maison, inspires the "Chess Night" collection, which features prestigious Crystal sculptures on the theme of the Horse.
The depiction of animals has been a favorite theme of the Daum Manufacture since the beginning of the 20th century.
It was Almaric Walter with Antonin Daum, under the influence of naturalism and the Art Nouveau movement, who inspired the animal movement.
The manufactory then made decorative glass paste objects and realistic animal sculptures with very striking polychromy.
