The Transat line pays homage to the history of Ercuis, which for decades furnished the most legendary transatlantic liners, including the France and the Normandie. This collection carries on the aesthetic of the great transatlantic liners of the 1930s: pure and geometric, it combines elegance and practicality.
The design is minimalist horizontal lines, finely engraved and inspired by the creations of designer and decorator Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann, a leading figure in the decorative arts.
Furthermore, these ornamental lines prevent fingerprints from showing on the surface, making the cutlery easier to clean. The Transat cutlery collection is elegantly complemented by the Transat silver-plated cutlery collection, which features the same engraved line motif on the handles.
