One of the most classic Saint Louis designs but still very current.
Today this model is called "Thistle" but when it was created for the Nancy Exposition in 1908 it was called "Chardon," Italian for "Thistle."
Only later with the rapprochement between France and Britain was the name anglicized to "Thistle."
